Habit:

Perennial grass to 30cm high. Tufted numerous stems. Pointed and relatively thick leaves on stems. Flowerhead a dense spike-like panicle (Sep-May).

Habitat & Site Selection:

In Bimble Box, Mulga and Cypress Pine communities. Often on red earth soils.
