Using this Website

This site was developed in conjunction with the hardcopy guides, South West Slopes Revegetation Guide and Native Vegetation Guide for the Riverina, and is intended to give the guide creators and future managers of this site a place where updated knowledge and practical information can be shared as they develop over time, and to provide more detailed information and links to other online resources that simply cannot be included in printed guides.

The information provided here is in four main sections (each accessible from the main menu).

Chapters – Planning, design and practical information about implementing your revegetation.

Deeper Reads – Detailed looks at specific areas, such as Climate-ready Revegetation, Managing Wetlands, Mistletoe, Natural Capital, Rural Dieback and Paddock Trees, and much, much more (coming soon).

Interative Area Map – Find what sub-catchment you are in and head to the relevant vegetation profiles for a list of plant species recommended for revegetation in your area (click here).

Plant Profiles – Plant descriptions of the most common species across the South West Slopes and Riverina regions.

Throughout we will recommend you contact Landcare and/or the regional delivery agencies for natural resources in your area for advice that is specific to your site and local to your area.

This guide covers the regions of the Murray Landcare Collective and Murrumbidgee Landcare Incorporated, and the current contacts can be found via the NSW Landcare gateway website.

Good luck on your journey!
