Habitat & Site Selection:

All vegetation and soil types, from heavy clays to shallow stony soils, but resents very wet areas. Readily associates with Acacia woodlands and chenopod shrublands.

Habit:

Annual prostrate or ascending herb to 10 cm high. Leaves and stems hairy. White flowers most often during winter months. Florets yellow.

Seeds long lived in soil.

Propagation:

From seed or cuttings.

Very hardy and popular as a rockery plant. For best flowering effect do not water after leaves start to yellow, (Aug-Jan).
