Habit:

Much branched shrub to 3m high. Branches leafless flexible and furrowed. Leaves are short well spaced scales. Pea-like flowers are brownish-yellow (Sep-Nov). Fruit an ovoid-oblong pod to 2mm long and drying black or brown.

Habitat & Site Selection:

Many woodland communities usually on loamy or sandy loam red earths.

Seed Collection & Propagation:

Propagate from seed which should be treated with near boiling water and allowed to soak.
